Ubuntu 22.04.3 Boot Unreliability; WiFi and Bluetooth don't start relaibly; ACPI errors every boot

I recently upgraded an old computer hardware, but face unreliable booting. Sometimes, it never boots. Safe mode usually works. When it does boot, sometimes WiFi and Bluetooth do not work. Ubuntu 23 is the most reliable I’ve tried, but still faces issues.

I’ve upgraded to the following:

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. B650 AORUS ELITE AX
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070/PCIe/SSE2

Here is the full hardware list:

I have tried the following fixes:

Given all these issues faced with Linux kernel 6.2, what is the recommended process to start troubleshooting these problems? I’m happy to dig in deep debugging, but I don’t know which issue to start with.

All of these critical problems, including failure to boot, were actually caused by the nvidia drivers mismatch.

The command nvidia-smi returned the same info as this post:
https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/failed-to-initialize-nvml-driver-library-version-mismatch/190421/4

With the correct nvidia drivers installed, both WiFi and Bluetooth work. It’s not clear why these are related, but they are.

Software & Updates reported I had the correct version installed, however a reinstall of the same version fixed the problem.

Installed Nvidia Drivers
